About the 2nd Annual Transformative Coaching Summit: The Vitality of The Human Presence in Coaching

It seems it is hard to talk about coaching nowadays without reference to the role of AI and whether it will supplant traditional coaching or otherwise support coaches as a tool. Yet coaching was never merely a process which could be replicated through algorithms.

It is an intensely human activity. This has never been more true than now as we face questions over the role of the human being as coach versus the process of coaching. Our contention at Animas has always been that coaching is not only what happens at the surface but also what happens at the relational and unconscious levels.

In this summit we explore the importance of human presence in coaching – what, in other words, does the presence of the person bring beyond the process. The summit will feature 6 expert-led presentations with time for attendees to explore the topic further with the speaker through Q&A.

Leaders of the coaching field will share their perspectives on the aspects of human presence and how, as coaches, we can enhance our own understanding and awareness of the impact of our presence. In each case, we aim to draw out the vital quality brought by the presence of the human being that is the coach – beyond theory, beyond models, beyond techniques.

We celebrate the humanity of coaching.
